Bayview completed the full interior demolition of an approximately 70,000-square-foot building, reducing the space to its structural shell. The scope included the removal of interior walls and studs, ceilings, flooring, and mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Sustainability was a major focus throughout the project. Our team carefully sorted and managed the demolition debris, achieving a high recycling and landfill-diversion rate. Bayview safely and efficiently cleared the interior while maximizing material recovery and preparing the building for its next phase of construction.
Future work contracted work for this project includes selective structural demolition, rooftop mechanical demolition, as well as the full interior demolition of neighboring 100,000 SF building.

The exterior scope of work consists of fully scaffolded around the entire building perimeter, shrink wrapped, media blast the asbestos containing wall coating, abate windows, roofing field penthouse siding and chip out 3” inches of concrete with PCB’s caulking around the columns.
The interior scope of work consists of demo and offload non-hazardous debris to access the abatement, abate drywall system, TSI pipe insulation, HVAC ductwork with ACM mastics, floor tile and associated mastics and Universal waste.
Biggest challenge that we’re having is waiting on the WD (building owner) and GC to safe off utilities and offloading the non-hazardous (C&D) debris prior to start the interior abatement.

Bayview Environmental Services was awarded the hazardous materials abatement package for the Patrick Henry Middle School pre-demolition project in Sunnyvale, California. The scope of work included the remediation and safe removal of asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, and various forms of universal waste across seven existing school buildings.
The project required detailed coordination with the general contractor and environmental consultant to ensure all hazardous materials were removed safely and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Bayview deployed a skilled crew trained in AHERA and Cal/OSHA standards to execute the work efficiently within the tight 40-day schedule.
Through strong project management, clear communication, and adherence to strict safety protocols, Bayview successfully completed the project on time and without incident—demonstrating our continued commitment to quality, safety, and environmental stewardship.

Bayview Environmental services was contracted to complete the renovations of the 32,000 sf 2-story Building B at Alhambra High School. Additional renovations included the 8,000 sf Building H basement.
The scope of work at Building B included the abatement and demolition of interior finishes and roof. The abatement included removal and disposal of asbestos containing and lead materials; floor tile, mastic, tsi insulation, rolled roof, and drywall w/ joint compound. The selective demolition consisted of removal and disposal of interior partition walls, ceiling systems, MEP’s, flooring, & light fixtures.
The scope of work at Building H basement consisted of abatement of boiler insulation, floor tile/mastic, and tsi pipe insulation. The demolition consisted of piecing/torching apart 2 boilers, 1 cooling tower, and 1 chiller. This demolition included associated concrete pads and all associated wires, conduits, and plumbing lines. Bayview crews utilized a spider crane to safely rig materials from 15’ deep basement up to grade level.

This project consisted of the complete interior demolition of two one-story
warehouse buildings in preparation for future tenant improvements. Over the course of six
weeks, Bayview performed a full white box demolition, removing all non-structural interior
components while preserving the building shell. The scope included the demolition of office
spaces, indoor squash ball courts, interior partitions, ceilings, and other building finishes. A mini
excavator and skid steer were utilized to efficiently complete the demolition and debris
removal. Upon completion, both buildings were fully gutted and ready for the next phase of
construction.
