Shipboard work also presents additional hazards, including narrow passageways, changing vessel conditions, electrical systems, piping networks, and limited escape routes. Good housekeeping, proper lighting, and maintaining clear access to exits help reduce the risk of slips, trips, falls, and delayed evacuations.
