For the last few years, we as a company have participated in the Toy Drive for The Children’s Hospital in Oakland. The ESOP committee decided to donate to a local cause in our community and what better way to help than with the young and misfortune. Every year for our Christmas dinner we ask everyone that is invited to bring a small toy to give to the Children’s Hospital. It has been a very successful event because everyone has been very generous and has bought in on trying to help those in need in our community.
We spoke with the Administrative Assistant for the Children’s Hospital Gilmarys Rivera to get some feedback on how else we can help as a company or as individuals. Gilmarys said the Toy Drive is an awesome way to help but that there are also a few ways to donate.
