Hi, I’m Violeta Rivas, and I recently joined Bayview as a Safety Technician. My background is in aviation, where I worked in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment focused on safety, compliance, and quality control. I’ve also held leadership roles, which pushed me to develop strong communication skills and hold teams accountable to high standards.
I joined Bayview because I wanted to grow in safety while being part of a company that actually values its people and the work being done in the field.
Joining the Safety Department has been a great experience so far. It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and keeps me on my toes. I enjoy being out in the field, identifying real hazards, and working directly with crews to make sure things are being done safely and correctly. It’s rewarding to be part of a team that takes safety seriously and holds a high standard.
Being part of an ESOP means a lot because it creates real ownership. It’s not just about showing up to work, you’re contributing to something you actually have a stake in. That adds a different level of motivation and pride in the work. It makes me more invested in the company’s success and the direction we’re going.
I am excited to continue growing with Bayview and contributing to a strong safety culture across all our projects.
