I would like to talk about the company event that took place in July of this year 2024 at the Oakland Zoo. This summer event was attended by our office staff from Oakland along with all the Foreman and their family members. Also, in attendance were the CBR staff and their families. The weather was great and the views from the Oakland hills looking down toward the Bay Area were awesome.
The company provided us with VIP parking passes and tickets for the whole family. We were given an all-day pass to enjoy as much time as we wanted to at the Zoo. I took my daughter with me which is always great for me because she is a teenager now and spending time with the old man isn’t always her first choice. We got to the Zoo early and we walked around and saw a bunch of our employees all over the place enjoying their time with each other and their families.
At around 12pm it was time to meet at our designated area for some lunch. Rick Cleveland and his wife Linda were at the door greeting everyone coming into the lunch area. We all got together and had a buffet style lunch which was great, and we also spent some time hanging out and meeting each other’s family members. Once lunch was over, we were able to go back into the Zoo and enjoy the rest of our day. It was another successful summer company event. I would like to send a shout out to Geisell Orozco for planning the event and the owners of the company Rick Cleveland and Marvin Henderson for making this great event possible.
