Project Summary
Bayview Industrial Services provided specialized decontamination and cleanup services aboard the USCGC Healy, a 450-foot U.S. Coast Guard icebreaker, following an AFFF discharge onboard the vessel.
The project included decontamination of approximately 36,500 square feet across 38 compartments, including impacted floors, walls, hatches, and other surfaces. Working in close coordination with the U.S. Coast Guard and project stakeholders, Bayview mobilized an experienced eight-person crew and successfully completed the work in just nine operational days.
The project demonstrated Bayview’s ability to rapidly mobilize and safely execute complex environmental cleanup work in an active marine environment while maintaining an aggressive project schedule.
