Bayview Environmental Services provided hazardous materials containment and contractor support for UCSF’s life safety and seismic improvement program at the HSE and HSW buildings at 513 Parnassus Avenue in San Francisco. The work included the setup, maintenance and final cleaning of regulated containments, decontamination areas and personnel hygiene facilities, along with contractor assistance for other trades performing work within impacted areas. Bayview supported the multi-year construction effort by maintaining safe work environments, coordinating access for seismic improvement activities, performing required air monitoring and managing asbestos waste disposal. The project required sustained coordination within active UCSF laboratory and office buildings while supporting complex, phased renovation and seismic upgrade activities.
