Project Summary
The project’s hazardous materials abatement scope included comprehensive asbestos, lead, and PCB-related work. Asbestos abatement encompassed the removal and proper disposal of flooring, mastics, fireproofing, thermal system insulation (TSI), drywall with joint compound, textured concrete surfaces, roofing materials, penetration mastics, and transite panels.
Lead abatement included the removal and disposal of lead-lined drywall, loose and flaking paint, ceramic wall and floor tiles, and terrazzo shower pans. PCB-related work involved the removal and disposal of roofing materials, penetration and pipe support mastics, aluminum windows and panel assemblies, stucco wall assemblies, perimeter metal roof flashings, air vents, window and door assemblies, and selective concrete.
This work demonstrates Bayview’s expertise in managing complex, multi-material hazardous abatement projects while maintaining strict safety and environmental compliance.
