As everyone is aware, the ESOP quarterly meeting is conducted by the ESOP committee. However, not everyone is aware of how this quarterly meeting gets planned, or what the ESOP committee members do to make these meetings happen for all of us every quarter. The purpose of this article is to provide information on the inner workings of the ESOP committee, from internal meetings conducted by the group to the tasks assigned every quarter to make the ESOP meetings happen.
The ESOP committee meets various times throughout the quarter to plan the overall structure and what will be discussed in the upcoming ESOP meeting. The planning varies from reviewing what articles will be presented in the ESOP quarterly article, what events each member will have to attend to provide information for the articles assigned, what topics will be discussed during the ESOP quarterly meeting, the format of the presentation, what jobs will be highlighted this quarter, etc. Each member is assigned an article and/or task, and they provide updates during every internal meeting. These internal meetings occur about every 2 to 3 weeks throughout the quarter, until the week of the ESOP meeting. During this meeting, updates are provided as well as pictures of the events each member attended. Overall, these are collaborative meetings that make the quarterly meetings possible.
All in all, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to develop and present the ESOP quarterly meetings. The ESOP committee works hard to make this happen for all of us, so make sure to give commend them next time you guys see a member.
