On January 25th Bayview sent a large group of employees to the Association of Environmental Contractors Membership meeting in Oakland. The Association of Environmental Contractors (AEC) is comprised of the leading Union hazardous material abatement contractors in Northern California. AEC members have extensive experience in this regard, averaging over 1,600,000 work hours annually in addition to construction work in the demolition, insulation, and environmental industries. Together with our partners from the Northern California District Council of Laborers and their affiliate Local 67 the hazardous abatement contractors of AEC provide the highest quality service in the environmental industry while offering the best wages and benefits to the men and women working in the hazardous abatement field. This was a great opportunity to meet with competitors, environmental consultants, local union representatives, and the staff of the laboratories that support our work. Many ESOP members from our sales team, operations management and administration department were in attendance. Scott’s Seafood hosted a cocktail hour, followed by appetizers and a dinner presentation. It was great to see our ESOP company so well represented in a large group setting, and to hear the appreciation our industry partners have for Bayview Services.
