Project Summary
Bayview was contracted to perform extensive abatement and selective interior and exterior demolition across the project site. The abatement scope addressed VCT with black mastic, HVAC mastic, and roof parapets and penetrations, ensuring all hazardous materials were safely removed. Demolition work included removal of non-load-bearing partitions, ceilings, doors and hardware, plumbing fixtures, miscellaneous equipment, stairs and handrails, wood and concrete flooring, millwork, cabinets, shelving, floor finishes, ceramic tile, and MEP systems above first- and second-floor ceilings. The roof scope included membrane, sheathing, skylights, equipment, parapet coping, and roof openings, as well as ducting, piping, storefront crest lettering, and plaster walls. This project demonstrates Bayview’s ability to efficiently manage highly complex demolition and abatement scopes while maintaining safety, quality, and project coordination.
