Project Summary
The project was jointly performed by Bayview Environmental and Demo Masters (now Bayview Demolition) over several phases. These included soft demolition, which was comprised of the removal of all interior non-structural elements from the building. Then came the demolition of the elevator shaft walls and stairwell ceilings. The work also included the abatement and remediation of building components that were deemed contaminated with hazardous lead paint. In addition, the project required the salvage and recycling of components in order to meet the project’s LEED requirements.
