Project Summary

In preparation for the construction of a new hospital, Bayview Demolition and Bayview Environmental Services completed the removal of asbestos and lead-containing materials from a former hotel and a nine-story commercial building.

The scope of work included the removal of asbestos materials located in walls, ceilings, flooring mastics, and sealants, as well as the exterior asbestos siding and windows. Bayview utilized swing-stage scaffolding strategically positioned around the building to safely remove the exterior siding system. The siding was handed into the building, where it was packaged by an interior crew and transported via elevator to a designated loading area on the first floor.

Upon completion, both buildings were left as skeletal structures, ready for demolition. This project was executed with precision and adherence to safety standards.
