Project Summary

The scope of this project was to demo the interior and abate hazardous materials of a seven-story 390,000-square-foot office building and data center built in 1970, and to get it ready to be renovated and converted to a dental school. All of the structural steel was sprayed with ACM fireproofing. Bayview and Demo Masters (now Bayview Demolition) combined on the project to take it back to a cold shell. In addition to the fireproofing, the hazardous materials abated from the building included curtain walls, drywall, plaster, lead, PCBs, and thermal system insulation. Bayview and Demo Masters completed the work in two phases over two years.
