Project Summary

Bayview was selected to perform the soft demolition and minor abatement of two multi-story LEED-certified buildings. The scope of work included the removal of non-structural interior elements such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, and finishes, as well as the abatement of select asbestos-containing materials.

Due to the sustainability goals associated with LEED facilities, Bayview implemented strict waste management protocols to ensure that demolition debris was properly sorted and recycled wherever possible. The project required close coordination between our Environmental and Demolition divisions to maintain safety and efficiency while working in occupied areas and adhering to green building standards.

The project was completed on schedule, meeting both the environmental compliance requirements and the client’s sustainability objectives.
