Since our founding in 1993, Bayview Services has taken the “Safety First” motto quite seriously. In fact, within the past year, we have made the significant step of creating a stand-alone Safety Department that operates out of both our Northern California and Southern California office locations.
This newly expanded department represents significant growth in the area of safety services for Bayview and is led by Chief Safety Officer and Board of Directors Member, John McCarthy, who is responsible for long-term vision and the implementation of cultural change.
John Trenev (Director of Safety) provides technical oversight, conducts in-depth investigations, and establishes training standards.
In 2018, we employed just one safety professional. Today, we proudly employ five safety pros and continue to dedicate resources toward the innovation, improvement, and employment of modern technology platforms that support and protect the health and safety of our workforce.

Bayview Services Safety Team
The safety managers at Bayview include Abraham Parra and Justin Valenzuela, who are assigned to the Northern California region, and Frank Torres, who is assigned to the Southern California region.
These managers provide frequent site visits, audits, and site-specific training, and have been fully trained in OSHA 30, OSHA HAZWOPER, lead, and asbestos safety programs.
