CBR New Permit and Overview

As California looks to reduce the amount of material commonly destined for landfills, the state has begun imposing stricter requirements on how contractors can manage debris generated during their projects. CBR’s 2.2-acre C&D debris sorting facility is ideally located to serve the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The facility is currently permitted to receive 350 tons of material daily. All material entering the facility will be accurately weighed at the scale house, where weight tags will be generated and tracked for each specific job location. Weight tags and reports will then be provided to customers for use in closing out their demo permits in the city where work is being executed. CBR’s diversion rates will be third-party verified by the Recycling Certification Institute, which means that our clients can feel confident that their project diversion reports will be both accurate and verifiable. CBR’s Capabilities exceed California’s minimum diversion rate of 65% for debris generated on demolition projects. CBR can meet the most stringent LEED project site material sorting and diversion percentages and CBR is an approved Certified Debris Sorting Facility by most Bay Area cities and counties.
