Project Summary
On November 7, 2023, a devastating fire destroyed the historic World War II-era Hangar 1 in Tustin, California. Bayview was contracted to perform the removal and disposal of hazardous fire debris throughout the massive 300,000-square-foot site.
Our team established negative air enclosures to safely manage and contain airborne contaminants while consolidating and loading hazardous materials into approved disposal bins. The project required precise coordination, environmental sensitivity, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory protocols. Bayview’s expertise in large-scale environmental cleanup ensured that the site was stabilized and remediated efficiently following one of Orange County’s most significant structural fires.
