Project Summary

A portion of Sweeney Hall was renovated to accommodate the expansion of the Doctor of Audiology Program (AuD), affecting four rooms, two restrooms, and the corridor. The abatement scope included setting up negative air containment and a regulated work area using 3-stage D-Con. Bayview removed approximately 2,500 SF of 12″ ACT (6% friable), 2,500 SF of 9″ VCT (2% non-friable), and associated mastics (4% non-friable). The demolition scope included metal windows and doors with lead paint, scraping lead paint from a concrete wall for new door installation, restroom finish removal, and miscellaneous interior demolition.
