Bayview Demolition, Environmental, & Industrial

This project, performed for general contractor TRC in San Francisco, was completed by Bayview Environmental with a total contract value exceeding $1,000,000. The facility encompassed over 1,000,000 square feet and housed a 206-megawatt natural gas-fired steam turbine, three 52-megawatt diesel peaking generators, and multiple liquid fuel storage tanks. Bayview Environmental executed extensive hazardous materials remediation within these tanks, removing operational residues containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Following removal, the tanks were pressure-washed to complete the cleaning process. The scope then shifted to exterior work, where Bayview’s team performed the removal and remediation of thermal system insulation.
