Project Summary

This project involved the removal of asbestos coating from the exterior of California Memorial Stadium as part of its 2012 upgrade. The work required detailed mockups and multiple refinements to methods and procedures to achieve the finish standards established by the project’s architects and preservation specialists. Executed in tandem with extensive seismic upgrades, the project was carefully managed to preserve the stadium’s original architectural and historical character. All work was performed in multiple phases under a highly compressed schedule.
